History

Tsubakimoto Chain Company was founded in 1917 as a bicycle chain manufacturer. In 10 years Tsubaki shifted its business by producing industrial chains – it is with these chains that Tsubaki saw its future. Since then, Tsubaki has contributed to the evolution of chain technology. Currently, Tsubaki manufactures more than 20,000 types of chain.

As Tsubaki celebrates its milestone, we look forward to the next 100 years. A focus on innovation, engineering expertise, and customer service will remain the forefront of Tsubaki’s mission.
