Utilizing 22 AWG copper conductors, PowerWise 1G 4PPoE cable delivers 60 Watts of power to PoE-enabled devices with 97% power efficiency and 100 Watts of power at 88% power efficiency, while also supporting 1 Gigabit data transmission.

Platinum Tools’ Tor cable jacket stripper and slitter now shipping

Platinum Tools recently launched the Tor Cable Jacket Stripper and Slitter, an adjustable heavy-duty cable stripping and slitting tool for all insulation types used in today’s cables. Features include tool-less interchangeable cable clamps, giving it a cable capacity up to 1.5 in. / 40mm. Tor has been tested to more than 100,000 cycles, the company says.
Easy to use, Tor has positive locking positions for circular, lengthways and spiral (apple peel) strips. Its blade automatically returns to its starting position at the end of a strip, reducing the possibility of broken blades.
