New to Grasse Lumber - Cloverdale Paint. Cloverdale is a high-quality paint that is made in the lower mainland. (In Cloverdale, hence the name).It’s nice to support a family-owned, Canadian company; there are so few left. We can convert any of your old General Paint formulas over to Cloverdale, so don’t worry about the transition. We have a color match computer to match any existing colour as well.

Lumber prices to remain high for 2018

Spruce and Treated lumber are selling about 26% higher than a year ago. We thought prices would come down, but it looks like higher prices are here to stay. There are three or four mills that control most of the lumber production in Canada. They control the price using “conscious paralleling” (think gas prices before a long weekend), so it seems that the price isn’t going down anytime soon.
