I am thrilled to announce that Sexton Group has come together in a joint venture with Evolution Distribution to create evoX, a new choice for Quebec dealers that will revolutionize the Quebec market in our industry. This new initiative will leverage both companies' unique strengths to provide unparalleled growth opportunities to dealers across Quebec.
Evolution Distribution, and their leader Geneviève Gagnon, bring not only a wealth of expertise on the Quebec market to this venture, but an illustrious reputation and a rich history of success. Their in-depth market knowledge and established presence in Quebec will drive success for Quebec dealers.
For our members outside of Quebec, this will add a sizable amount to our overall Canadian volume. Our goal is to continue to grow as your buying group partner to ensure we can deliver beyond market competitive pricing and improved programs to all members.
In addition to the partnership with Evolution Distribution, we will look to grow further in the Quebec market by adding additional members over the coming year, in turn strengthening our national presence.
Working alongside Geneviève to create a unique offering for the province of Quebec has been an honour. I truly feel evoX brings forth a fresh, new initiative that will be the right choice for many dealers. I look forward to this venture as it moves ahead.

Rotating workers during shifts can also help prevent prolonged exposure to cold, reducing the likelihood of cold stress and hypothermia.
Watch for Cold Stress Symptoms Cold stress can manifest in various ways, such as shivering, confusion, or numbness. Ensuring all workers are trained to recognize the signs of frostbite or hypothermia is critical to prevent serious health issues.
Prevent Slips, Trips, and Falls Ice and snow create slip hazards on worksites, increasing the likelihood of falls. Ensure that walkways and work areas are cleared of snow and ice regularly. Use de-icing products like salt or sand to provide better traction, and make sure workers wear slip-resistant boots.
Maintain Equipment Cold temperatures can cause machinery and tools to malfunction. Ensure all equipment is properly winterized and regularly maintained. Lubricate tools and machines as needed to keep them functioning smoothly in cold conditions.
By taking these precautions, construction workers can stay safe and continue working effectively, even in challenging winter weather.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has announced a final rule intended to combat fake reviews and testimonials by prohibiting their sale or purchase and allowing the agency to seek civil penalties against knowing violators. Many Canadian contractors are reluctant to offer online reviews on their websites out of concern for the many ways the systems can be gamed or abused. Fake online reviews are already illegal in Canada under the federal Competition Act.» read more
