Customer feedback is not just a metric – it's a goldmine of insights that can propel your business forward, helping you refine your products, improve your services and, ultimately, gain edge over your competitors.
Here are a few ways to take advantage of customer feedback:
Analyse Patterns: Look for recurring themes in customer comments. If you can identify patterns – positive or negative you, you can use them to identify systemic problems or successes that will make the most impact on your business.
Close the feedback loop: Instead of leaving feedback open ended, inform customers how their feedback has helped improve your business. This could mean replying to comments on online reviews or calling customers who have given their feedback in person or on the phone.
Create a testimonial page: A great way to expand the value of customer feedback that is positive is to create a testimonial page on your website or social media. This is a great way to make your customer feel their feedback was appreciated and valued, while starting a foundation of trust with new potential customers
Involve your team: Feedback only goes so far if it lands only on one person’s ears. Ensure your team is aware of the feedback you receive – doing this allows for collaboration on how to improve customer service and ensures alignment on how to best serve customers.
Sexton attends ABSDA Showcase
It was great to once again attend and exhibit at the 2025 ABSDA Showcase. This year was extra special as the ABSDA celebrated their 70th anniversary. This show is always a great opportunity to come together with our Members out east as well as other industry partners and friends. This year, we had an opportunity to introduce some new Sexton Members to other Members which is always a pleasure.
We also had a new attendee with us on the Sexton team. Our Senior Commodity Wood Manager, Shane Mcdonald. It was Shane’s first ABSDA Showcase with Sexton Group and our East Coast friends made it a show to remember for him. Thank you to all of our Eastern Members for your continued support and collaboration at this show!
