How Anonymous Employee Surveys Can Help your Business

How Anonymous Employee Surveys Can Help your Business

Employee Surveys can be a big benefit for a business in many ways. Below we have a few of the key impacts a regularly scheduled employee survey can have on a business:
  1. Access to missing information: You may ask, why have a survey? Can't employees go straight to their managers with feedback and concerns? While many places of work create a safe environment to share, a report by AllVoices and shared by Forbes, 74% of employees would be more inclined to give feedback about their company, workload and culture if the feedback channel was made truly anonymous. Without this feedback channel, your business could be missing integral information into business performance and company retention no matter how much of an open-door policy you encourage.
  2. Identify patterns for improvement: A one-off conversation between two employees, or an employee and manager may be chalked up to a singular issue or complaint, but a collective survey with all responses in one place allows patterns to be identified and could lead to improvements in process, leadership and other areas of business that might otherwise be overlooked.
  3. Managerial effectiveness: An employee's first touch point in most cases is their supervisor, and while they likely receive feedback on a regular basis from their supervisor, there can be difficulty when it comes to the reverse. An employee survey allows for a safe space for honest, constructive feedback on managers that can be used to help strengthen and create well rounded business leaders – resulting in employee retention and morale that is required for success.
