15,000 residential construction workers on strike in Ontario

Members of Liuna Local 183 in Ontario have gone on strike following expiration of their collective bargaining agreement on April 30. Below are statements from the Residential Construction Council of Ontario, Liuna and a CBC story on the topic.

OHBA welcomes provincial budget aimed at building supply and choice

The provincial has government released the 2022 Ontario budget. Entitled Ontario’s Plan to Build, the budget lays out a path forward to build more housing supply and choice across our province. Important measures are included to increase opportunities in the skilled trades, invest in critical infrastructure needed for new housing and ultimately make it easier and faster to buy a home.

Swimming in knowledge at Spring Training Camp
