Ontario doubling skilled trades career fairs, investing in apprenticeship grant program

The Government of Ontario is expanding its skilled trades career fairs, Level Up!, to Hamilton, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, Oshawa and Dryden. Now in its second year, Level Up!, is a multi-day career fair designed to highlight the skilled trades to students in grades 7 to 12, as well as parents and jobseekers.


Canada and Yukon governments allocate $8.32M for affordable housing expansion

The Governments of Canada and the Yukon are providing $8.32 million to build at least nine new affordable homes in the city and enable renovations and upgrades to a women’s transition home called Kaushee’s Place near downtown Whitehorse.


Canadian home prices forecasted to be flat this fall amid high interest rates: report
