Contractor Productivity Forum coming this fall

On October 1, Canadian Contractor will host our first-ever Contractor Productivity Forum at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont. Home renovation and custom homebuilding contractors are invited to come together for a day of networking and discussion about how to drive efficiency and profitability in our businesses.


Get the latest building permits statistics on our home page

Canadian Contractor has added a widget to our home page linking to the Statistics Canada Building Permits Interactive Dashboard. The dashboard shows the most recent value of building permits information available, with the ability to select for regions, values/change, residential/non-residential and time ranges.


Dates announced for Japan's big building show

RX Japan has officially opened exhibitor registration for Japan Build Tokyo 2025, Japan's premier exhibition for the building and construction industry. Scheduled for Dec. 10 to 12 at Tokyo Big Sight, the event is expected to build on the momentum of the 2024 edition by offering even greater opportunities for industry professionals in Japan’s dynamic construction market.
