With summer comes warm and moist conditions ideal for fly development. Flies annoy workers and birds, may disperse to nearby homes and businesses, and may carry pathogens that often constitute a risk to both animals and humans. House flies (Musca domestica) are the most common species in poultry barns1.

QuickBayt® Granular Fly Bait starts killing flies in seconds and remains effective for several weeks after application2,3. Additionally, QuickBayt kills more flies than other fly baits and is more attractive to flies than sugar alone4.

An easy & ready-to-use formulation, QuickBayt is applied as scattered bait at a rate of 200 gr/100 m2 inside poultry facilities and other animal housing areas in places not accessible to animals. One 2.26 kg tub can treat more than 1,100 m2 of fly resting surfaces. QuickBayt contains Bitrex® bittering agent to help prevent accidental ingestion by animals and children.

Combine chemical control with good sanitation and management practices to keep flies manageable. Avoid using the same insecticide class on a continuous basis to reduce the development of resistance to the compound. QuickBayt is a Group 4 insecticide suitable for rotation with Tempo® (Group 3) and Debantic® (Group 1) for fly control.
