SALMET INTRODUCES NEW STYLE WHISK FOR MANURE DRYING

The new and improved, Salmet patented Whisk pre-drying system is now available, delivering up to 20% less wet manure coming out of the house compared to systems without the Whisk. The new Whisk is placed underneath the system where the birds have no access to it. This way the living space for the birds is not reduced.

Reduce Energy Costs
A single 1.1 KW motor can run up to 7 tiers of Whisks. This results in a much lower power consumption and significantly lower running costs compared to more common fan operated systems.

Uniform Air Exchange
An additional advantage is that the Whisk pulls air from the corridors, which helps overall ventilation providing more even temperatures throughout the house. This improves air quality that is made available to the birds as well as the temperature within the cages.
