ESA-1000s generate results that speak for themselves

Randy and Sheldon Martin are two brothers. They both own their own organic broiler chicken farms in Ontario. They both have very very similar farms.

Their difference? The Whispering Meadows Farm (owned by Randy) is equipped with six ESA-1000 heat exchangers while the Sheldale Farm (owned by Sheldon) doesn't have any... for now.

For over a year, the brothers have been comparing their respective productions.

They found out that the litter is dryer and more uniform at the end of each flock at the Whispering Meadows Farm.

Randy Martin's chickens are also 50g heavier than those raised at his brother's farm. While, Randy estimates his condemned meat ratio at 0.5%, his brother Sheldon estimates his at 1%. The results are strongly affected by the litter quality, according to the brothers.

"We get the same price per gram for our birds, but since Randy's are usually bigger, he gets more profit from them," says Sheldale Poultry's owner.
