Since installing their ESA-1000s, Drouin-Joly et Filles Farm's birds are less at risk of contracting diseases, and their growth rate has increased a lot.
Since they are designed specifically for the agricultural environment, ESA-1000 heat exchangers are resistant to dust, high humidity and cold weather. They reduce cold drafts on the birds while also reducing ammonia and carbon dioxide, which means better air quality. ESA-1000 HRVs also help maintain desired humidity levels at a lower cost of heating, which is key in preserving litter quality.
Jean-Francois Drouin didn't know the ESA-SERIES heat exchangers would be the missing element to meet his quality standards. "I raise organic turkeys which means I'm not allowed to use antibiotics. I can't afford poor litter because I won't be able to treat my birds if they get sick".
He first tried the ESA-1000 heat exchangers in one farm and has since equipped several farms with it.
