Chicken Farmers of Canada launches new strategic plan

Chicken Farmers of Canada is planning for the future with the implementation of the 2023-2025 Strategic Plan. With a vision of “Canadian Chicken: Trusted. Preferred. Sustainable.” and a mission “To lead and grow a trusted and sustainable Canadian chicken sector.”, the sector is poised for success headed into the new year.

The sector will focus on sustainability, growth, telling our story, and risk management over the next three years. In particular, the Five Principles of Sustainability will be applied to the work we do:

Protect bird health and welfare
Produce safe chicken
Preserve the environment
Prosperous Canadian chicken sector
Promote social responsibility

Canadian chicken farmers are committed to feeding Canadians and supporting Canadian communities for years to come.
