A few years ago, a U.S.-based professor teamed up with Alltech and two U.K. companies to create an official program called Seed Feed Weed (SFW). The model is focused on seeding the gut with poultry-derived favourable bacteria, feeding them to promote their growth and weeding out the pathogens. The program has proven to work wonders for gut health and has been a boon for RWA production.
