Erosion caused by abrasive fluids can impact the life span of a bent tube Coriolis meter, specifically at the inlet spigots and the tube bends. However, this can easily be avoided by using an OPTIMASS 7400 with a Titanium straight tube design thereby significantly increasing the operational lifespan while also improving the measurement quality.
