Roma Foods achieves 180 days shelf life
with MAP packaging system

Pascal Ramacieri of Roma Foods demonstrates how his Reiser Variovac Optimus packages and preserves his traditional pancetta and other meat products.

The Variovac Optimus at Roma has the capability to both gas flush and vacuum pack, and features a user-friendly, labour-saving swivel control screen, which proves to be an excellent add-on benefit in tight confines. Reiser also fitted the machine with inline ink jet coding and labeling equipment to complete the packaging line.

Watch how the chambers are filled, air is removed and MAP gases ensure a pristine film package for Roma Food's high-end, artisanal pancetta. The machine provides very precise packaging and seals for a small package.
