Information data management platform slashes energy costs at food retailer

In this video, Ben Kungl, President of Oxford Energy Solutions, and Dave Mark of Schneider Electric demonstrate how the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure platform offers a plug and play platform to both handle data entry/management and provide protection through e-mail connectivity to the customer, Your Farm Market grocer in Woodstock Ontario.
YFM co-owner Bernia Wheaton relates that refrigeration is a key part of her business, and that by working with the platform provided by Oxford Energy she has “come to know Schneider Electric through their component system that operates their state-of-the-art system.”
“With the amount of information that is at your fingertips,” maintains Kungl, “there is nothing else in the market that even come close.”
Kungl insists that Schneider Electric above all others was able to solve the problem of finding the right amount of hardware and software through the M-172 platform with graphic display, SCADA system and IPC gate management remote access.
“This platform truly offers plug and play connection to every compressor in the system.””
Schneider Electric Account Manager Dave Mark demonstrates on the HMI how the security e-mail entry system offers both protection and easy monitoring by Oxford Energy to detect potential problems for their client before they occur.
“Energy consumption management,” concludes Kungl is the key to why “our refrigeration platform is full on, thanks to Schneider Electric.”
