Energy cost control for manufacturers [Webinar]

June 21, 1:00 pm EST - Register Now
As energy costs in Ontario continue to rise, manufacturers struggle to protect their profit margins and remain competitive.

This webinar will offer cost-saving energy efficiency strategies that apply to industrial companies of all sizes.

Willem Anker, manufacturing engineer with Dynaplas Ltd.–a Scarborough, Ont.-based high-precision injection molder supplying to global Tier 1 automotive suppliers–will discuss key energy efficiency projects underway at Dynaplas, including:
  • Variable frequency drives for compressors
  • Lighting upgrades
  • Process improvements
Willem will also cover strategies such as building a business case for energy efficiency, and accessing industrial incentives to help cover the cost of capital upgrades.

Chris Loughren, manager of commercial energy solutions with Bruce Power Direct, will share insight on leveraging energy use data, and the importance of understanding your electricity bill to spot billing errors and opportunities to save.

The webinar will help plant, operations, engineering and energy managers identify practical ways to reduce energy use and avoid costs.
