De-escalating violence in health-care

According to the Ontario Nurses' Association, violent incidents resulting in lost-time injuries increased by 27% between 2013 and 2016. Steve Summerville, president of Stay Safe Instructional Programs, will present highlights from his crisis course Management of Resistant Behaviour (MORB) to help security professionals cope with the growing and troubling trend of violence in health-care.
