Tripwire Study: 81 per cent of security professionals say skills required for cybersecurity have changed

Tripwire has announced the results of a study conducted by Dimensional Research in July that examined how organizations are addressing the cybersecurity skills gap. Participants in the study included 315 IT security professionals at U.S.-based companies with more than 100 employees.


Public advocacy centre skeptical of data breach reporting regulations

Companies would be required to notify people in the event of a serious data breach involving personal information under proposed new federal regulations. But the regulations do provide some flexibility, depending on the circumstances.
