Emergency Preparedness Week underway

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale Sunday issued a statement on the nationwide Emergency Preparedness Week, held May 6-12. Minister Goodale's statement also directly addressed the testing of the wireless Public Alert system.


Twitter finds security bug, advises changing passwords

Twitter says there's no indication that there was a breach or that any of the passwords were misused. But as a precaution, Twitter recommends users consider changing the passwords they use to log onto Twitter.


Starbucks Canada to provide inclusiveness training

Starbucks will close all its Canadian company-operated stores and offices for an afternoon next month to provide training about creating a "culture of warmth and belonging."
