Stationary battery manufacturer Hithium has broken ground with its new 4MWh 300Ah-cell based container, featuring <2% degradation in the first 1000 cycles at the cell level (versus the usual 6%). The new container improves capacity usage, and thus the ROI in the initial three years of use, also offering a lifespan >10% longer than a typical 280Ah-based system.
With 5GWh delivered in 2022 alone, the manufacturer is looking to continue to meet the fast-growing demand for high-quality stationary batteries, expanding its production capacity, from its current 45 to 70GWh by the end of 2023.
