Road ditches reduce nutrients in Iowa

New research out of the Iowa Nutrient Research Center reveals road ditches can help reduce nitrates by up to 60 percent, and can function as edge-of-field conservation practices within a watershed.

Drainage division of Plastics Pipe Institute rebrands with a focus on sustainability

The Corrugated Plastic Pipe Association division of the Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI) has become the Drainage Division of PPI. The division also introduced a new website with specific areas dedicated to agricultural and turf drainage and sustainability.

WFTD announces field tiling demonstrations

Attendees can see a modern drainage system installation and edge-of-field practices on display during the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days (WFTD), taking place from July 23 to July 25. Drainage professionals will be on site to discuss management tools.
