Florida farmers reduced nutrient runoff by 44 percent

The annual report by the South Florida Water Management District found that farmers in western Palm Beach County have cut the amount of harmful nutrients leaking into the Everglades by twice that’s required by law.


New York watershed farm panel, DEP extend agreement

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection and the Watershed Agricultural Council announced a $92-million contract to continue protecting water quality through 2025.


Ontario county unveils 20 year watershed management plan

The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority based in Utopia, ON, released their new Integrated Watershed Management Plan as a guide for how to manage the watershed and its resources over the next 20 years.
