Simplify Assemblies and Reduce Costs with Retaining Rings
Simplify your mechanical assemblies, reduce installation costs and decrease material waste by incorporating retaining rings into your designs. Retaining rings perform a range of versatile functions allowing manufacturers to replace more costly components including: machined shoulders, cover plates and screws, cotter pins and washers, and set screw collars. Tapered and Constant Section Retaining rings are either internal for installation in housings and bores, or external for assembly on shafts. Once installed, they provide a protrusion or "shoulder" for retaining parts.

Spiral Rings Provide Greater Design Freedom
Spiral rings provide a strong, yet flexible, 360 degree retaining surface. They offer you greater freedom of design and speed production by reducing the number of required parts and eliminating excess machining such as counterboring, threading, drilling, and other complicated and costly processes. Spiral rings offer space savings in a radial direction since there are no assembly lugs as with tapered retaining rings. Daemar stocks a complete line of spiral rings from light duty single turn rings to heavy duty multi-turns.

Fast and Easy Assembly with Push-On Fasteners
Daemar's DMR push-on fasteners (hat and retainer) are designed to hold components on plain round shafts, rods or axles. These type of fasteners reduce costs by eliminate costly secondary operations such as notching, threading or drilling. "Push-ons" can be quickly inserted on a shaft or stud with no need to find a thread or turn a nut down with a torque wrench.

Disc Springs Save Space in Assemblies
DMR Disc Springs provide shock absorption, energy storage and high spring forces with little deflection and while utilizing minimal space in an assembly. Disc Springs are utilized in many applications including actuators and ball valves, with standard outside diameters ranging from 6 mm to 250 mm. On Request, Daemar can deliver pre-assembled Disc Springs in stack formation or on a guided device. Stack formations provide specific load-deflection diagrams, small load tolerance. Stacked parts can be tested for 100% load capacity to verify proper stacking.
