Cool Muscle EtherCAT Bridge
Myostat Motion Control recently announced the new EtherCAT bridge for CM1 and CM2 Cool Muscle Integrated servos. The bridge connects to any EtherCAT network, and provides up to 4 axis of servo control. The EtherCAT bridge opens up the opportunity to utilize smaller, cost effective closed loop motion axis within your machine replacing under-performing stepper motors or motors that are beyond the control of your EtherCAT Master controller.

Spherical Rolling Joints
The SR Joint is a unique solution for machine builders that require high precision in a true 2 degree-of-freedom spherical mechanism. As an extremely low friction precision replacement for universal joints or high pre-load ball joints, the SR Joint offers 2.5um or 1um of run-out with the motion characteristics you would expect from a caged ball bearing assembly.
Parallel manipulators, mostly hex-a-pods, make up the majority of SR Joint installations. However for Image Quality Labs, the SR Joint became a key component in their new Hand Tremor Simulator. M Series Belt Actuators and Gantry Systems
The M Series belt actuators are a new line of modular actuators in 4 different frame sizes. The series’ components include ready made solutions for inline and right angle motor mounting, coupling multiple actuators to one drive motor, or mounting the actuators together to make multiple acts gantries. All actuator bodies have T Slots for easy integration into slotted aluminum fixtures. Integrated EtherCAT Cool Muscle CM1-E Servos
In addition to the Cool Muscle EtherCAT Bridge, Myostat now offers an on-board EtherCAT interface as part of the CM1 Cool Muscle line. This motor is fully EtherCAT complaint, and includes rotary ID selectors as an option systems requiring manual addressing. Also unique to on-board interface is a 4 pin 24Vdc input, allowing separate power for the drive and controls. Functional safety can now be handled by dropping power to the drive without losing position or communications on the EtherCAT network. The CM1-E retains all the capabilities of the standard CM1, including the advanced H Infinity controller, programmable functions, and smooth, quiet motion. Right Angle Helical Cut Servo Gear Boxes from Myostat
Myostat offers a complete line of in-line and right angle servo class gear boxes. The RL series of right angle gears include ratios from 1:1 to 5:1, or can be extended using a planetary stage to reach higher ratios. The right angle spiral bevel gears combine to create a high strength and high efficiency solution, while reducing running noise.
