CM1-E EtherCAT and CM1-T MODBUS TCP Cool Muscles
The CM1-E and CM1-T are the latest Cool Muscles from Myostat Motion Control Inc. This integrated servo system builds on the All-in-One concept, adding new network communications options and multiple power inputs to the CM1 line of motors. EtherCAT, TCP/IP &, MODBUS TCP communications are all available, as are the Cool Muscle's standard internal programming capabilities and I/O features. Ethernet Networking
The CM1-E provides 2 RJ-45 ethernet jacks for EtherCAT or 10/100Mb TCP/IP networking on the CM1-T. The dual connector configuration acts as an ethernet switch, allowing for motor to motor networks, or motor to switch configurations. Each RJ45 has LED communications indicators as well as EtherCAT indicators for run and error status. Easy Setup and Diagnostics
Multi-axis machine builds or maintenance operations are simplified with the option to set static network addresses using the rotary DIP switches on the side of the motor. Removing the need to use PCs to configure motors accelerates machine builds and reduces the complexity of installation.

The CM1-E Diagnostics information or the ability to update software are both accessible via an onboard USB connector. USB provides a secondary high speed communications bus that is separate from the ethernet communications, allowing for motor specific data acquisition during operation. » Learn more
Separate 24Vdc Power and I/O
In the pursuit of ever increasing machine safety, the CM1-E and CM1-T Cool Muscles provide separate power inputs for communications and motor power. By using a SIL rated disconnect inline with the motor's power bus, the motor's drive can be safely de-energized without losing position or communications to the device. The machine controller maintains control and communications over motor status and position data, enabling machine restarts that don't generate waste.

A separate 8 pin header provides access to 4 digital inputs, 1 analog input, and 2 digital outputs, all of which are accessible as remote I/O to an EtherCAT controller, or programmable with the Cool Muscle's internal controller. » Learn more
Linear Actuators
The CSR rod style actuator is a programmable, space efficient, cost effective solution for applications requiring either position based or force based moves. Setting guides, holding fixtures, and dispensing material are all within the abilities of the CSR actuator. Individual actuators can be programmed and run using digital inputs, similar to triggering pneumatic actuators, or can be networked together with a wide range of protocols and controlled from touch screens, PLCs, or other controllers.
