Quad-Rings are a double-acting four lip seal for static and dynamic applications. The X design limits rolling in the groove and can withstand the distortion and extrusion often caused by high or pulsating pressure. The four-lobe design has multiple sealing points meaning less squeeze for the same sealing pressure and the inside and outside grooves can retain more lubricant. These characteristics can provide higher seal efficiency and lower friction than the same size conventional O-Ring.

Master Bond EP21NS is a nanosilica filled epoxy system for bonding, coating, sealing and potting/encapsulating featuring a moderate viscosity and good flow properties. Due to its nanosilica resin this system offers enhanced dimensional stability, additional abrasion resistance and low shrinkage upon cure. When measured according to ASTM D4060, standard test method for abrasion resistance, with CS-17 wheel for 1,000 cycles, EP21NS exhibits a very low weight loss of 25 mg.
