Clippard Solenoid-Operated PTFE Media Isolation & Pinch Valves

These isolation valves are solenoid-operated devices that use a flexible diaphragm to isolate the actuation mechanism from the fluid path. Media isolation valves are commonly used for a wide variety of applications, including those that require precise, repeatable dispensing of media. All wetted areas of the valve are PTFE, making this series ideal for use with corrosive media.

Industries and applications that commonly use these types of valves to isolate gas or liquid including drug dispensing, laboratory equipment, analytical, chemical analysis, sampling, life science/biotech, genetic research, gas chromatography, spectrometry, DNA synthesizing, blood analyzing, printing, diagnostic equipment, fermentation, water treatment and more.

Building the Future of Nuclear Through Responsible Waste Disposal

Building the Future of Nuclear Through Responsible Waste Disposal Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) is using leading-edge technology to put forward a long-term environmental solution. Taking guidance from domestic and international experience, CNL has proposed an engineered containment mound – the Near Surface Disposal Facility, or NSDF – as the solution for low-level radioactive waste at Chalk River Labs. The facility is being proposed as a permanent and modern technological solution to an environmental issue that goes back almost a century.

CNL is seeking the support of the industry and its supply chain to move this project forward and advance the future of waste disposal in Canada. Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has scheduled a public hearing starting in May of this year to consider CNL’s proposal. Anyone can participate in the hearing process by submitting a written intervention or letter of support to the Commission by April 11. » Learn more
