Info: The 2018 Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC), hosted by Skills/Competence Canada, will take place from June 3 - 6, 2018 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton, Alta. The event will be open to the public for free from June 4 - 5. The organizers say there will be over 40 skill competitions representing six sectors: construction, employment, information technology, manufacturing and engineering, transportation and service. More than 550 secondary and post-secondary competitors will attend from across Canada, as well as about 7,000 student visitors. This is the qualifying year for WorldSkills Team Canada 2019 to compete at the WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, Russia.
