It’s official! In a recent signing ceremony, Electrical Business Magazine became an Advocate of Electrical Human Resources Canada’s Leadership Accord on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, thereby pledging to “actively engage in outreach and promotion of the Accord and the principles for which it stands”.

Back in 1968, when she was 18, Lorraine Deuville helped her then-boyfriend (now husband) rewire a house in their Truro community. “And I thought, ‘Gee, this is something I could do!’.” Now 72, Lorraine is still on the tools and can’t imagine doing anything else.

Joanna is the president & CEO of Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE), whose mission is to “advance the role and recognition of women working in the energy sector, inclusive of all renewable energy and clean technologies”.
