RECALL – Southwire 12/2 NMD90 75M Romex SIMpull (yellow)

The recalled product contains a neutral wire that is 14-ga, contrary to the stamp on the wire identifying both the neutral and hot wires as 12-ga. As such, it may not perform as expected in 12-gauge applications i.e. impaired performance and/or non-compliance with relevant codes/standards.

In case you missed it, the recalled product contains 14-ga electrical conductors in the cable rather than 12-ga (as labelled). Running a current suitable for a 12-ga conductor through a 14-ga conductor may cause overheating, posing a fire hazard.
