Unqualified workers are a safety problem in BC

In 2022, Technical Safety BC reports it investigated multiple incidents caused by unsafe conditions created by unqualified workers, many of whom advertise themselves on social media as handymen, capable of completing renovations cheaply. Hiring unqualified workers—particularly for gas and electrical work—can lead to costly repairs, voided insurance, and serious risks and hazards to public safety.

PowerON and TTC unveil new electric bus charging pantographs

The Toronto Transit Commission and PowerON Energy Solutions unveiled 10 newly commissioned, battery-electric bus (BEB) charging pantographs as part of a proof-of-concept at the Birchmount Garage in Scarborough.
