Leviton Canada says it had committed to reaching carbon neutrality by 2025 but, in fact, achieved this objective two years earlier, in the second quarter of 2023. “Leviton Canada is committed to ensuring that we integrate sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations [...]” said Jason Prevost, president and COO.

Level Up! is a series of career fairs highlighting 144 skilled trades, expected to be attended this year by over 25,000 students in grades 7 through 12 (as well as parents and jobseekers), where they will have the opportunity to learn about these trades through interactive exhibitions and hands-on activities while hearing directly from tradespeople and local employers.

Fluke recently published its 4th annual Electrical Safety Survey, saying it confirms the importance of a strong culture of safety. As in previous surveys, the majority of respondents (79%) felt that they were personally most responsible for workplace safety. “Safety begins with me. I am responsible to make sure that what I am doing is safe,” said a respondent.

WSG Energy Services has expanded operations in North America by acquiring British Columbia-based Servco Industrial Contractors for an undisclosed sum. Headquartered in The Netherlands, WSGES is an independently owned provider of process, pipeline, and industrial services to European refinery and LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal sectors, and globally employs more than 1000 people.
