The soon-to-publish 2024 edition of CSA Z463 “Maintenance of electrical systems” is available on CSA Group’s Public Review page. Z463 applies to both new and existing installations “to facilitate the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of electrical equipment and systems through the application of consistent maintenance practices”.


Anquetil to retire from Sonepar Canada; McClean named successor

After a 36-year career at the company, François Anquetil—president of Sonepar Canada—will be retiring. “I am very proud of how we grew the business in Canada, and in the development of careers for our associates,” said Anquetil. “It’s very gratifying to watch someone who started as a sales account manager grow their career to lead a large functional area of the organization today.” His successor is George McClean.
