Hitachi Energy reports it has successfully deployed a centralized, multi-vehicle electric bus charging solution—the Grid-eMotion Fleet EV charging system—for Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC), the public transit agency in the Quebec City area. The technology was selected for a three-year pilot project that may ultimately lead to the electrification of RTC’s entire bus fleet and infrastructure.
