Manitoba gets a Gold Star in the Institutional category of construction investment

Investment in building construction took a dive across both non-residential and residential sectors overall, although many individual components saw growth. Investment in non-residential construction edged down by $31.2 million (-0.5%) to $6.3 billion in April, reports Statistics Canada. Seven of the 13 provinces and territories reported gains in institutional construction investment, with Manitoba leading the way.

Honda “hits the gas” on establishing comprehensive EV value chain in Ontario

With an investment of about $15 billion (including investment by joint venture [JV] partners), Honda Motor Co. Ltd. announced it plans to build a “comprehensive EV value chain in Canada” to strengthen its electric vehicle supply system and capability to prepare for a future increase in EV demand in North America.
