Manitoba unveils plan for energy efficiency and affordability, renewables, and electric vehicles

The Government of Manitoba unveiled a blueprint outlining the next generation of energy that aims to keep rates low for all Manitobans. While windpower is the government’s first priority, the Manitoba Affordable Energy Plan also includes new codes and standards for EV chargers, plus a commitment to adopting a higher tier of energy efficiency in building and energy codes.


FortisBC needs power for the Southern Interior, and you can help

FortisBC Inc. has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) to provide additional power to help the utility meet its customers’ growing energy needs and support economic growth in British Columbia’s Southern Interior region. The utility seeks power providers with experience building projects in B.C., with a focus on developing “innovative, lower-carbon and renewable energy sources”.
