Ontario celebrates completion of construction on the largest Indigenous-led energy project in province’s history

The Ontario government and Wataynikaneyap Power are celebrating the completion of construction of the Watay Power Transmission Project—the largest Indigenous-led grid connection project in the province’s history. The project involved the construction of approximately 1800 kilometres of new transmission lines to connect more than 18,000 people in 16 remote First Nations communities to the provincial grid, ending their reliance on diesel generators.


Lumen recognizes Brady Canada for outstanding supplier growth

Brady Canada received First Place for Supplier Growth in the ITS category at the Lumen Awards in Montreal. Winning the award involved achieving the largest sales increase across all 48 Lumen branches. A brand of Sonepar Canada, Lumen is a distributor of electrical and automation solutions in Quebec. Quebec leads decline in non-residential construction intentions

Capstone executes 30-year PPAs for 537 MW of Indigenous-led wind power in BC
