Canada invests $11M in solar, energy storage, and other projects across remote communities

Over a dozen projects across six provinces and territories will share over $11 million in federal funding to advance projects like solar power and battery storage systems in remote and northern regions. Supported through the Clean Energy for Rural and Remote Communities program, the initiatives include system expansions, feasibility studies, and skills training to support local energy planning and infrastructure.
