Siemens and Eaton partner to accelerate data centre construction and deployment

Siemens Energy and Eaton are partnering to offer grid-independent energy supplies and standardized modular systems to accelerate data centre construction and deployment. Their goal? To develop modular, scalable solutions that make it possible to supply electricity to data centres quickly and, when necessary, independently of existing power grids.


Quebec leads non-residential construction cost growth in Q2 2025

Statistics Canada reports residential building construction costs increased 1.0% in the second quarter of 2025, following a 0.9% increase in the previous quarter. The tariffs imposed by the United States and the countermeasure tariffs implemented by Canada on certain imports from the States have increased volatility in both pricing and availability of certain materials.
