A new Ipsos poll conducted on behalf of the Energy Futures Institute shows a majority of British Columbians oppose the implementation of new-car EV sales mandates. Affordability and practicality remain the biggest hurdles, with respondents citing high purchase prices (64%), limited driving range (46%), and a lack of charging infrastructure (43%) as reasons for not purchasing an EV.
