ASHRAE announces technical program for upcoming annual conference in June

ASHRAE recently released the technical program for the 2018 ASHRAE Annual Conference being held June 23 - 27 at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel and the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Tex.


Beacon Hill Park LED lighting renovation expected to save energy

The city of Beaconsfield, Que. recently decided to replace the lighting that illuminates the tennis courts and basketball court / ice rink, as well as the surrounding access areas, at Beacon Hill Park, a 31,000 m2 community facility that serves 20,000 residents.


Funding announced to help Ontarians save energy in homes and businesses

This funding will support the province’s GreenON Rebates program, which will assist property owners make energy efficiency changes such as installing better insulation, high-efficiency ventilation systems and heat pumps.


Alberta partners with Paul First Nation to help reduce energy needs

Through energy efficiency upgrades to the housing units, the Nation will save 505 GJ of energy each year, with a lifetime energy savings of 15,150 GJ.
