BOMA Quebec's Real Estate Energy Challenge launches

On May 23, BOMA Quebec announced the launch of the Real Estate Energy Challenge (DEI), a new competition for property owners, building managers and tenants who are committed to implementing responsible management practices to improve their energy performance in a sustainable manner.


Government of Alberta to fund energy efficiency upgrades on Tsuut’ina Sportsplex

Through Alberta’s Indigenous Energy Efficiency (Retrofit) Program, the Nation will receive a $2,156,686 grant that will be used to install a new ice plant in the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex. The ice plant, along with upgrades to the building’s water system, will help save the community up to $89,000 per year.

Mohawk College has been awarded the Zero Carbon Building - Design certification from the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) for the Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation.


Nearly $51 million in funding to help New Brunswickers save energy and money

The Total Home Energy Savings Program will help homeowners with energy efficiency changes such as better insulation, home heating systems, heat-recovery ventilators, windows, doors, water heaters, drain-water heat recovery and renewable energy systems.
