FortisBC gift-wraps three natural gas boilers

The Vancouver Aquarium closed its doors due to the pandemic and, adding to the non-profit’s financial strain, the natural gas boilers used to heat several areas had failed. To remedy the boiler situation, FortisBC donated high-efficiency natural gas boilers.


Petawawa’s “Energy Net-Zero” wastewater plant

“The Town of Petawawa is committed to leading by example on climate change by transitioning the delivery of essential services in a way that reduces [GHG] emissions generated from our own biogas produced through wastewater operations,” said Bob Sweet, Mayor.


Net zero is NOT a ribbon-cutting ceremony

We won’t achieve our net zero targets by focusing on grandiose technologies alone, says Tonja Leach of Quest, suggesting we need institutional changes. Most importantly, we need to be “sustainable at net zero”.
