Canada’s first retrofitted carbon-neutral school

John Paul II Catholic Secondary School in Ontario’s London District Catholic School Board is the first retrofitted carbon neutral school in Canada. The implemented improvements will greatly reduce GHG emissions, as systems previously required to heat, cool and provide electricity to the school have been brought to near zero emissions.

Brampton’s Susan Fennell is getting a makeover – for energy efficiency

The sportsplex is getting a funding injection of over $15.7 million for energy efficiency retrofits. Work will involve replacing the facility’s refrigeration plants, HVAC system, and lighting. ECO Canada released a report on the opportunities and consequent gaps in the building sector as Canada works toward net-zero emissions by 2050.
