Ottawa announced a total investment of over $4.2 million for eight organizations to help them recruit, train and mentor up to 690 new energy advisors across the country, and upskill up to 110 existing advisors. The spending is part of a $10-million call for proposals to train up to an additional 2000 energy advisors.

Through Enbridge Gas Inc.’s Industrial Energy Conservation program, Coco Paving Inc. is receiving $51,348 in support of recent energy efficiency upgrades at its Belleville, Ont., facility. This investment not only helps the company reduce costs, lower emissions and improve competitiveness, says Enbridge, but contributes to the province’s goal of reducing GHG emissions.
