“The industrial energy efficiency playbook”—a new report from ABB’s Energy Efficiency Movement—shows that improving industrial energy efficiency is the fastest and most effective way for a company to reduce its energy costs and GHG emissions. “The 10 actions contained in this report are known cost-effective resources, and can be employed at scale rapidly to help companies convert climate ambition into action,” said Kevin Lane, International Energy Agency.

For a limited time, Canadians have access to fully funded microcredentials that aim to increase their skills and competencies “to meet the needs of Canada’s shifting economy”. The feds are providing $46.5 million in funding to Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery, which is “developing demand-driven workforce training solutions for a clean economy [...]”. With this funding, the colleges have launched Quick Train Canada, offering microcredentials for upgrading skills for a low-carbon economy.
