Be prepared for Toronto’s energy and water reporting requirements

As part of implementing its new energy and water reporting bylaw (1283-2023, under Chapter 367 of Toronto’s Municipal Code), the City of Toronto has opened a reporting link where owners of large buildings are to annually report their energy and water use. This year, the reporting requirement applies to buildings that are 50,000 square feet or larger. (Buildings 10,000 square feet and larger will be required to report in 2025.)
